Who's your favourite author? I've got quite a few and the list seems to keep growing.
1. Robin Hobb (author of The Farseer Tirology, The Liveship Traders Triology and the Tawny Man Triology)
2. Tolkien (Too many to list)
3. Robert Jordan (author of The Wheel Of Time Series)
4. Ian Irvine (Author of The View From The Mirror Quartet and The Well Of Echos Quartet)
5. Tamora Pierce (Author of The Song Of The Lioness, The Immortals, The Circle Of Magic, The Circle Opens, and The Protector of the Small Quartets and The Trickster's Choice)

There all great authors indeed... Didn't read them all yet; but I know they're name though... Some people I think're writing very good too - ánd terribly funny - are JK Rowling (Harry Potter, you knew that 'fcourse) and Terence White, who (re)wrote the saga of King Arthur, but in an awsome way really... Anyway, I think LadyFool's right about the list keeping to grow... but that's only a good thing, ain't it?

Completely. Even though I never get tired of re-reading these books, I always love getting a new book to add to the collection. I'm thinking of getting Betrayal by Fiona McIntosh as my next read. I just have to bother to get some money.

I love Tolkien. He is lord over my imagination. I also like J.K. Rowling. And I'm really beginning to like C.S. Lewis. And who could forget J.M. Barrie? Creator of Peter Pan! ;D

CS Lewis, that's the series of Narnia, isn't it? I've read some books of it too, and it was really so sweet, naive maybe, but that's just what's fun I only didn't read them all because the librairian really stared when I took those books, clearly thinking 'owh my gosh, she must be 15 and she still reads children's books ;D' Stupid of me ofcourse, but it really makes me feel uneasy

Robert Jordan is on my list now, too! He's great (see the topic I just opened, somewhere And I forgot to mention Terry Pratchett. He's too crazy for words. (writer of discworld series It's a parodie, you could say, but not an obvious one. It's a story on it's own. The only book that could really make me laugh hard ;D)
